Staying Busy

So it has been a while since I last blogged. The past two weekend we have been busy. We got some much needed yard work done. We got rid of some half dead bushes and trimmed back the have dead pine tree. Matt also trimmed the bushes on the side. When all the work was said and done we had over 30 brown bags filled of bush, leaves, and branches


















When Matt was trimming the pine tree he got a nice surprise he found a nest with a morning dove and her baby. Later the dad must of come for a visit because we got a nice picture of them together. The birds are no longer in the tree they have left that nest or something has eating them I am going to believe they found another nest.



















So this past weekend we had a little relaxation. We went up to Northern NJ for a concert. For Matt's birthday I bought him ticket to see David Wilcox one of his favorite singer songwriters. Since Matt birthday is in December he has had to wait five months to enjoy his gift. It was a long wait to get his gift but he said it was worth the wait. We stayed in a hotel for the night and got to sleep in a king bed so that is always nice when that happens. Below are a few you tube videos of the David Wilcox and Justin Roth. 9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their Journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God Never blinks.
16. Life is too short for long pity parties. Get busy living, or get Busy dying.
17. You can get through anything if you stay put in today.
